Extraordinary: The word to describe the performances of Rivani Adelia Sitohang and Jonathan Wijono at the Junior Golf National Championship. Rivani played impressively to claim her fourth title in a row at the event. The 17-yearold led the game for three days, scoring a total of 221 (5-over), four strokes lower than closest competitor Michela Chan, who collected a total score of 225 (9-over).
Meanwhile, in the boys' division, Jonathan showed he is still undefeatable. The East Java athlete scored a total of 211 (5-under), improving on his winning score last year of 221 (5-over) when he took home the boys' Best Gross title for the first time.
Eighty players from various regions of Indonesia attended the 2017 Junior Golf National Championship. The participants were divided into four classes (Boys and Girls). The national championship trophy will be contested in the Boys' and Girls' Class A.
