Having promoted Indonesian courses in Bali for the last two years, Combiphar continued the theme, choosing Parahyangan Golf Club as its destination for the 2019 Combiphar Players Championship Pro-Am tournament
Gurrounded by verdant rice paddies, picturesque lakes, and rolling hills, Parahyangan (meaning “the Gods’ residence” or “the abode of the Gods” in Sundanese) Golf Club was a beautiful venue for the fourth edition of the Combiphar Players Championship Pro-Am tournament.
On a bright Saturday afternoon in the eco-city of Kota Baru Parahyangan, Michael Wanandi, President Director of Combiphar, opened the 2019 Combiphar Players Championship Pro-Am. Clients and business partners of the company teed off simultaneously in a shotgun start at midday.
The tournament was attended by a total of 138 participants - 29 professionals and 109 amateurs - who competed on the challenging and beautiful of Parahyangan Golf Club that’s set amidst a dramatic mountainous landscape. After their rounds on the newest championship golf course designed by Bob Moore of JMP Golf Design Group, the participants enjoyed a relaxed evening event organised by OB Golf, including games, delicious food, and interesting entertainment.
The players were given the chance to win fantastic hole-in-one prizes of a new Harley Davidson Roadster on the fifth hole, a Patek Philippe Calatrava Mechanical on the eighth hole, a Porsche 718 Boxter Manual on hole 12, and on the 15th hole, a cash prize of IDR 100,000,000. Unfortunately, no-one was lucky enough to win any of the prizes this time around.
