Author is a full professor of finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret (FEB UNS), Indonesia. He is also the Director of Partnership, Development, and International of UNS, the Chairman of the Center of Fintech and Banking UNS, and Vice- Chair for Program and International Affairs of the Indonesian Finance Association (IFA). Irwan was the UNS best lecturer in 2015 and 2018 and the finalist for national best lecturer in 2018.
