In Indonesia, the sixth edition of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup was held at Royale Jakarta Golf Club, Jakarta, on August 24, 2018. The event was supported by the local business community and H.E. Dr. Mehmet Kadri Sander Gurbuz, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Indonesia along with other Ambassadors who came to take part at Royale Jakarta Golf Club.
With this year’s tournament being backed by The Financial Times, National, Titanic Hotels, and clothing partner Ruck & Maul, the winners of the qualifiers progress to the Grand Finals in Antalya in November, where they have the chance to secure a place in the Turkish Airlines Open pro-am. The winners will be flown to the event business class by Turkish Airlines and stay at the five-star Titanic Golf Deluxe Hotel.
The lucky winner of the Jakarta event was Farisyi who finished with a total of 44 points. He also took home the title of the lowest gross score (72) which beat runner-up Tedjodiningrat Broto Asmoro and Amrie Noor who came in third. who came in third.
