Alhamdulillah, all praise and gratitude we pray to Allah SWT who has given the opportunity for authors to complete the Handbook “Classical Mechanics Experiment Using Smartphone Sensors.” This book is expected to be used as a companion for the implementation of classical mechanics experiments in universities that can be carried out independently by students during a pandemic era like today. Students can use smartphones without the need to conduct experiments in the campus laboratory.

This book contains instructions for classical mechanics experiments using a smartphone sensor as a measurement tool. The experiments presented in this book are based on the science process skills approach.

We hope that this book will be of use to others.


Penulis

Prasetyo Listiaji - Prasetyo Listiaji, S.Pd., M.Sc., obtain a Bachelor of Education degree at the Undergraduate Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Science Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2015, then continued to study Master of Science at Physics at master’s degree Program in Physics, Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2016- 2018.

In 2018, He taught as a Physics lecturer at the Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto. Then since 2019 until now, he teaches as a lecturer at Science Education Study Program, Integrated Science Department, Universitas Negeri Semarang. His research interests are optical spectroscopy, radiography, physics education, and the development of science learning media.

Currently, he tries to develop a Mobile Science Experiment for Integrated Science, by utilizing smartphone sensors and open-source applications. The book that he has written is Development of Media and Teaching Aids in 2021.
Novi Ratna Dewi - Novi Ratna Dewi, S.Si., M.Pd., graduated with a bachelor's degree at the Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2005 and graduated with a master's degree at the Science Education Study Program, Postgraduate School, Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2007. She is currently pursuing his doctoral Program at Science Education Study Program, Postgraduate School, Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Since 2008 until now, she teaches as a lecturer in Science Education Study Program, Integrated Science Department, FMIPA UNNES. Her research interests are science education, methodology education, learning evaluation, metacognition and TPACK. The books that she has produced include Basic Science (2013), Formation of Conservation Characters Through Innovation and Science Learning Strategies (Book Chapter) (2018), and Be Creative in Designing Ethnoscience-Based Learning to Support Sustainable Development (2021).
Arka Yanitama - Arka Yanitama, S.Si., M.Si., obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Science Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2013. Then he continued his Masters in the Computing Science study program, Graduate School, Institut Teknologi Bandung and graduated in 2016.

Since 2017 until now he has been active as a lecturer in the Science Education study program, Integrated Science Department, Universitas Negeri Semarang. As a young lecturer, he continues to learn to become a good educator and always develops himself. His research interest is science education, computing, and e-learning. He has also been editor of seminar proceedings and scientific journals several times. The book that he has written is Development of Media and Teaching Aids in 2021.
